Whitening is a bleaching process that lightens discolourations of tooth enamel The system uses a mild solution retained in a custom-fitted tray that is worn over your teeth. Whitening gel is placed in a thin tray that fits perfectly over your teeth As the active ingredient in the gel is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and bleaches the coloured substances, making it lighter.
1. Your first appointment (no charge) is approximately 10 minutes in length. at which time impressions are taken in order to fabricate your custom-made whitening trays
2 Your second appointment is scheduled approximately one week later for 30 minutes. at which time we will deliver your trays and apply your first start up treatment While the treatment is working. the whitening kit will be explained and we will answer any questions you may have We will record the start “shade” or colour of your teeth so that we can determine the change that occurred once the entire treatment is completed

3. Your third appointment (no charge) will be scheduled approximately 2 weeks later for 20 minutes. at which time we will evaluate the results of the whitening process and compare your “shade” to that taken at your first appointment. At this point we will decide if further treatment is needed.
