Great news for all of our patients! We will be re-opening for dental services very soon! We have a few things we would like you to consider:
First of all, please be patient with us, some of our team members have not worked in over 11 weeks. We will be taking a few extra steps to maintain the health and safety of our patients and staff, so it may take us some time to get used to this "new normal". In return, we will be patient with you, as some of you may still have questions or fears.
Our personal protective equipment (PPE: gloves, masks, eyewear, etc.) have protected us from HIV, Hepatitis, H1N1, TB, Influenza, and other diseases for over 40 years! We will continue our history of strict and efficient infection control but will be adding a few new precautionary measures. Your dentist, hygienist & dental assistants may have on some extra PPE and may look different or scarier than you are used to. We understand things may seem a little different, but it is for your protection as well as that of our team of dental professionals and their families.
We are making changes to our protocols based on advice from the RCDSO, ODA, Ontario Ministry of Health, and other scientific experts. The use of hand-sanitizing stations, disinfection of doors, counter tops and bathrooms will be noticeably increased.
Unfortunately, our waiting room will remain closed until it is safe to reopen. Therefore, you will need to wait in your car/outside until you are called in. We ask that patients try to maintain social distancing where possible. Appointments will be staggered to avoid contact.
To limit the number of people we ask that only patients with appointments come in unless you are accompanying a child or a patient that requires assistance. Due to these restrictions no Walk-In appointments cannot be accommodated.
We look forward to seeing all of our Patient Family again and we appreciate your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times. We will be in touch very soon!
